Chris Schmid – Transatlantic Partnership Coordinator

Chris Schmid is the newly appointed Transatlantic Partnership Coordinator. He is bridging the UCC (United Church of Christ) churches in the USA and the KKBS (Protestant Church District of Berlin City Center) in Berlin. Chris holds a Bachelor's in Protestant Theology and a Masters of Linguistics. He served as a worship pastor for many years in various congregations and countries. When given the opportunity, Chris still has a passion for writing and performing music. Chris joined the KKBS staff in 2014 and has been with them since. Chris currently resides in Berlin and in the United States. When in the United States, he spits his time between New York and Ohio and helps with many partnership activities.
