En ny fotoudstilling med billeder fra Paris i 1960erne kan nu ses i Church Hall. 

Alan Scales er fotografen, der under et længere ophold i lysets og kærlighedens by i 1960erne forevigede, hvad kameraets linse fangede. Alan Scales boede en tid i Paris hvor han brugte sin fritid på at fotografere lokale mennesker i livlig aktivitet. Det gjalt kunstnere, digtere, statuer, stilleben unge kærester, træer ved vintertide, Seinen, folk og steder i al almindelighed.

Her 60 år senere har Alan valgt at dele udpluk af de billeder, han tog med sit Leica og Rolleiflex kameraer. Han skildrer den afslappede charme og livsstil, man dengang fandt på gaden og offentligt rundt omkring i den franske hovedstad.

Alan Scales personligt udvalgte billeder følger traditionen skabt af den franske fotograf Henri Cartier-Bresson, der inspirerede Alan med sine fotos af gade og park situationer i lokalsamfundet i datidens Paris.

Udstillingen indeholder et udvalg på 20 billeder. Traditionelt håndtrykt gelatine fiberbaseret sort/hvidt fremkaldt og udført af Mike Crawford, derefter monteret i håndlavede rammer fra 'The Only Place for Pictures'

Alle billeder er til salg gennem kunstneren til £550 indrammet og £450 uden ramme (hver).

20 % bidrag fra salget går til kirken.

A new photo exhibition with pictures from Paris in the 1960s is now hung in the church hall. 

Alan Scales is the photographer who, during a long stay in the city of light and love in the 1960s, immortalized what the camera lens captured. Alan Scales lived for a time in Paris where he spent his free time photographing locals in lively activity in the city. This included artists, poets, statues, still life, young lovers, trees in winter, the Seine River and people and places in general.

Here, 60 years later, Alan has chosen to share a selection of the photos he took with his Leica and Rolleiflex cameras. He depicts the relaxed charm and lifestyle found on the streets and in public around the French capital at the time.

Alan's personally selected images follow the tradition created by the French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson, who inspired Alan with his photos of street and park situations in the local community in Paris at the time.

The exhibition contains a selection of 20 images. Traditional hand printed Gelatine fibre-based paper black and white prints done by Mike Crawford, mounted in bespoke handmade frames from ´The Only Place for Pictures` 

All images are for sale through the artist, at £550 framed and £450 unframed (each).

A 20% contribution from sales go to The Danish Church.
