Listening, organising and responding

The long-term damages of Coronavirus continues to affect our congregation and community, many of it growing and unseen. There are a number of ways you can get involved, volunteer, or connect with others as we seek to serve each other and our neighbour at this time.

1) London Rainbow   is an initiative that repurposes donated devices so that those in hospitals and care homes, who cannot have visitors, can keep in touch with family and friends. All you need to do is to wipe your old phone of its data, fill out this simple form here and drop if off through the letterbox at the Parish Office! We will then collect them and drop them off to the organisation. (5 phones already received!)

2) ‘Tea for Two?’. An opportunity for a socially-distanced chat and cup tea in the garden or the park. If you would like to volunteer to visit someone, or have someone come and visit you please contact Peter Haisman.

3)    #MyDearNewFriendChildren – would you like to write a letter or paint a picture for people in the congregation who are shielding or self-isolating? Or would you like to receive a picture or letter from a child please contact Felicity Mather. Protocols for safeguarding and to make letters COVID safe are in place.

Food Pantry - If you are struggling financially and would benefit from a food package, or know of others who are in that position, please email Mthr Valerie Aitken. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
