Dear Friends,
I am delighted announce that Robin Griffiths joins the Ministry Team as an ordinand this week. Robin is currently training for full time ministry at St Mellitus College in the contextual scheme. This means that training takes place in dual mode between the college and the parish context. Robin brings many gifts and a passion for Anglican-Catholic ministry. It is our privilege to journey with in this stage of his path towards ordination. Please pray for him as he begins his ministry with us.
With every blessing,
Fr. Justin Dodd - Vicar
A Message from Robin Griffiths
"Hello everyone. My name is Robin, I’m 35, and I live in Northolt, I started training as an ordinand in 2020, and I am currently in my second year of three, as I complete a BA in Theology, Mission, and Ministry at St Mellitus College in London. I am very much looking forward to joining the Ministry Team at St Barnabas for the remainder of my training as an ordinand, learning and sharing life with you all as we navigate this world together. A little about me: I came to faith in 2016 when I was at a shallow point in my life; finding God was an incredible experience and an odd one considering I was a staunch atheist who thought God was a joke. That is, I am aware, quite a heavy statement. However, it has been an exciting and fulfilling experience that I am happy and eager to talk to anyone about, as it was the pivotal turning point of my life. I have a passion for mission and growth and feel that hospitality, volunteering, safeguarding, language, and community are crucial to making the dream work."
