Ovum: Session Four – Ambient Listening at Eliaskirken

Ovum Sessions and Folkekirken for Internationals (FFI) invite you to an evening of modern contemplative music and performances at Eliaskirken.

In a world where everything moves fast and noise is constant, we want to use the church as a space where you can slow down. A space without pressure or expectations. Through ambient music, light, and gentle visual elements, we invite you into a shared experience of deep listening, rest, and reflection.

The acts are all drawing on ambient elements, but also experiments with the old and new through fusion of church organ and electronic elements.

The church will be decorated with soft textiles and seating, encouraging you to settle in however feels most comfortable.

Specially brewed tea will be served throughout the evening, and the event is alcohol-free to support a more grounded and attentive atmosphere.

Bring a book, a sketchpad, a journal—or anything that keeps your hands away from your phone and your mind present.

Ovum—Latin for egg—is the foundation of our universe: a safe, embracing space where you can let go and feel held.
