Join Shtetl Berlin - Berlin's grassroots festival of Ashkenazi (Eastern-European Jewish) culture - for an evening of community, sharing songs and poems, and honoring the tradition of gathering on the sabbath to lift ourselves up with music and friends. The evening will feature a special performance by legendary East Berlin Yiddish singer and Cantor Yalda Rebling, as well as other short performances and opportunities to sing together. People of all backgrounds and identities are very welcome to join, we will include a few of the traditional Sabbath rituals but the event itself is not religious in nature but rather a celebration of our beautifully diverse Berlin community.
