Ensemble Respiro

Ensemble Respiro is an ensemble for early music from Kortrijk, Belgium. The ensemble features musicians who are passionate about early music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The ensemble consists of both professional and non-professional musicians.  

The enthusiastic  conductor is Siewald Degraeve. 

Annually they perform several concerts that reach a large audience.

Cooperation with other artistic associations in the past already led to beautiful projects. Choirs, dance groups, a folk group, the cooperation was always an enriching experience for everyone. 

Ensemble Respiro loves to expand their horizons in foreign tours. After France, Italy and the Czech Republic, they are exploring Scotland. 

In 2025, Ensemble Respiro will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a banging performance on November 29th.
