St. Nicholas of Myrna, also known as the Wonder Worker, is revered as a protector of children and sailors. His saint day is marked around the world by various traditions, some involving children finding gifts in their shoes, or gold coins, or chocolates. At St. Columba's we remember St. Nicholas on the second Sunday of Advent each year when he visits us during our 10am service, bringing oranges and cookies for children and those who are children at heart. Join us for this festive tradition, and snag a photo with Nicholas after the service.
