Catherine Pepinster is an editor, historian and writer who lives in Ealing. She was the first female editor of ‘The Tablet’ in its 176 year old history.

Catherine’s most recent book, ‘Defenders of the Faith’ explores the powerful connection between religion and the British monarchy from its earliest times through to the Reformation, the Civil War, Queen Victoria to her late majesty Queen Elizabeth II… and into the future when a new Defender of the Faith, Charles III is crowned on 6th May.

Catherine will share highlights of her book prior to this significant new chapter in the history of our nation, followed by a Q&A.
