Mothers' Union Meeting Report: 9th April 2024

The meeting was opened with our short service, led this month by Gwen, and the reading by Sue.

We were very pleased to welcome Gillian and Neville Barker, who told us all about there’re magical tour on the Serengeti last year.

Neville showed a film which they took whilst travelling around with their guide. The word magical was true! The animals they saw and the beautiful birds must have numbered hundreds, if not thousands, and had everyone spellbound.

They admitted it was tiring, so they were glad to finished their holiday with a rest in Mombasa, for 5 days, before travelling back to the UK.

We thanked them for coming and giving us such an interesting evening.

Our next meeting will be on the 14th May. All are welcome!
