Mothers' Union Meeting Report: 14th May

As usual we began with our short service, taken this month by Val, with a reading by Gwen.

Our speaker was our choir master Mr Garry Johnson.

He had organised a quiz, "Name That Tune". This sounded quite easy as we all thought we would at least know the hymns, but it’s surprising how difficult it can be!
We had lots of fun and I think everyone enjoyed the evening. We finished  by singing a favourite hymn, and Garry explained how he got into music and how much it still means to him.

The meeting closed at 9 pm.
