Weekly Green Tip                                                         Can you really freeze that?

I would never have thought of freezing eggs, but you can! Not whole, in the shell, but beaten, as you would for a cake or omelette and frozen in a freezer-friendly container. Similarly, milk can be frozen but avoid a glass container and leave enough room at the top for expansion on freezing. Let us not forget wine! Wine can be frozen to add to sauces, gravies or casseroles but again, not in the bottle!
