Free Guided tours: Burns, Byron and Bridgerton - the buried stories of Dunblane Cathedral Graveyard

• Please be aware that there is a programme of memorial inspection and repair under way at Dunblane Cathedral graveyard.
• Headstones which have been identified as unstable have been fenced off, however caution needs to be exercised while walking around the site as conditions can change.
• Please keep to the path unless instructed otherwise, do not lean on or against any memorials and avoid crowding around memorials.
• You are advised to wear suitable footwear, and be aware that the ground is o stick to the of uneven ground is uneven in places, there are trip hazards and rabbit holes in grass areas.
• It is recommended to wear suitable clothing for changeable weather
• In the event of inclement weather the tour may be modified, shortened or cancelled as necessary.
• There are benches placed outside around the Cathedral should there be a need to sit.

• Tour visitors with dogs will require to keep them on leads at all times.
• Allow other people access on path
• Do not lean on any stones, or hang any item on a headstone.
• Groups will have no more than 10 people.
• This tour is not deemed suitable for children under 12 years old
• Children and vulnerable adults on the tour must be accompanied by responsible adult at all times.
• Members of tour group may not smoke or vape while tour is in progress.

Dunblane Cathedral is in the care of Historic Environment Scotland as is the graveyard which surrounds the building. The Society of Friends of Dunblane Cathedral, under whose auspices this tour is organised, exists to adorn Dunblane Cathedral and to safeguard and enhance its surroundings.
