🎵 Celebrate a number of musical anniversaries with music performances by the multiple groups spanning multiple decades from children, teens and adults, of Dunblane Cathedral Handbell Ringers, including the theme from the film "The Pink Panther" (marking the centenary of the birth of its star Peter Sellars), "Let's Go Fly A Kite" from Mary Poppins (celebrating its 60th anniversary, as well as centenary of birth of songwriter Robert Sherman), as well as "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" to mark the birth 90 years ago of its star Julie Andrews, and Chim Chim Cheree" to mark the birth 100 years ago of its star Dick Van Dyke, "The Runaway Train" and "Locomotion" (marking both the 200th anniversary of the birth of the modern railway, and the 50th anniversary of the National Railway Museum in York, "Gymnopedie No 1" by Erik Satie (commemorating the centenary of his death), "Pavane by Maurice Ravel (marking 150 years since his birth), the theme from the film "The Rose" (marking 80 years since the birth of its star Bette Midler), "Highland Cradle Song" (to mark 300 years since the Black Watch was raised as a military company), waltzes from the Watlz King Johann Strauss II (marking the 200th anniversary of his birth, "Winter" from Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" (marking its publication 300 years ago), "Amazing Grace" (celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of its writer John Newton, "Aura Lea" (used as melody for "Love Me Tender" sung by Elvis Presley, to mark the 90th anniversary of his birth), Bob Dylan's "Blowin' in the Wind" to mark the release this year of the biopic starring Timothée Chalamet, "Defying Gravity" from "Wicked" marking the release of the film this year, and "Beyond" from Moana 2", and "Hoax" by Taylor Swift.

📺 Dunblane Cathedral's handbell ensembles have an international reputation and have appeared many times on television. Handbells are one of the world's oldest musical instruments yet the handbells used today are sophisticated precision instruments which produce a beautifully rich sound.
