Arts Guild Concert: The Waverley Quartet

The Waverley Quartet (Beatrice Devlin & Viktor Seifert – violins, Aiden MacDonald – viola, Donnie Deacon – viola (Brahms), Sarah Baker – cello) was founded in September 2024 at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where they are in their second and third years of undergraduate study. They have received extensive mentoring by Alison Wells and Donnie Deacon, as well as guidance from David Watkin and Andrea Gajic. Since their formation, the Waverley Quartet have been invited to perform numerous times including in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland's 'Mondays at One' concert series and in the 2025 RCS Strings Festival, where they also received guidance from members of the Brodsky Quartet. The Waverley Quartet also had the opportunity to play in the Wigmore Hall as part of the CAVATINA Chamber Music Competition.
